O-N-H Analyzer

O-N-H Analyzer

The composition of constituent elements has a significant impact on the properties and performance of metals and solid materials. As a result, it is crucial to maintain strict control over these elements to ensure product quality and to develop new materials for a variety of industries, including steel, nonferrous and non-metallic materials, ceramics, batteries, semiconductors and others.

HORIBA's elemental quantitative analyzers have been continuously advancing to meet the demands of the steel market, which requires both high accuracy and rapid analysis speed. These analyzers are based on our unique Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) gas analysis technology, which enables ultra-high-precision trace determination at ppm levels and high speeds, surpassing the capabilities.

EMGA-Expert (EMGA-30E/20E)

The EMGA-Expert Oxygen/Nitrogen/Hydrogen Analyzer significantly reduces analysis time and costs while enhancing analysis accuracy and functionality. The EMGA series has been a best-selling model for over 40 years since its release in 1980, maintaining industry-leading analysis accuracy that strongly supports material research and development and quality control. We have achieved a reduction of approximately 40% in analysis time and running costs compared to our previous model, through comprehensive efficiency improvements. It is also equipped with an automation mechanism to improve operator safety, and reduce operator working hours.

EMGA-Expert (EMGA-21E)

EMGA-Expert (EMGA-21E) specializes in ultra-trace hydrogen analysis below 1.0 ppm, equipped with a high-sensitivity TCD (thermal conductivity detector) and HORIBA’ s proprietary gas separation column for R&D and quality control of iron and steel, nonferrous metals, and ceramics.

Hydrogen is a critical element in material development and quality control, as even extremely small amounts can cause defects in materials. However, analyzers capable of detecting hydrogen at the 0.1 ppm level remain limited. The “Inert Gas Fusion – Thermal Conductivity Detection” method has proven to be a highly effective technique for such ultra-trace analysis. HORIBA has over 40 years of experience in developing analyzers based on this method, and has built proprietary technologies such as an impulse furnace for sample heating and melting, a high-sensitivity thermal conductivity detector (TCD), gas separation technology, and advanced control systems. The EMGA-Expert Hydrogen Dedicated Analyzer (EMGA-21E) is an ultra-trace hydrogen analyzer that delivers high-precision analysis along with excellent usability, simple maintenance, and low running costs.

EMGA-Pro (EMGA-20P)

More cost-effective solution providing reliable and efficient results for your analytical needs without compromising on speed and precision

The EMGA-Pro Oxygen/Nitrogen Analyzer offers high cost-performance solution for users who require less measurement range and accuracy, while maintaining the same high measurement speed and ease of maintenance as the EMGA-Expert Oxygen/Nitrogen/Hydrogen Analyzer Flagship High-Accuracy Model.
